After a couple of early morning wakeups at Ben’s parents house this week, we decided to try moving the twins to the room adjoining ours. The tv room next to us only has one window and is easier to make darker, so we thought we would try letting them sleeping in there and seeing how things went.
Since we will be moving into the new house next week and putting them straight into their own room, we figured it might make a nice test run to have them in an adjoining room. Four days later, the twins have slept well, and I am adjusting to having them out of our room. I still run next door when I hear them cough and keep an eye on them through the video monitor to make sure they are okay, but I think that after five months, it is probably time for me to let them go a little bit!
